"Working with Lua as our Doula was an amazing experience from the beginning until the end. We decided to work with Lua based on her experience but mostly our personal feelings with her as a person. Her background as a clinical psychologist was also really interesting to us as we wanted to have the right support both physically and psychologically for this key moment of our lives, especially as we are both expats and far from our families and support system.  The various sessions with her before birth helped us get prepared for the big day while covering any worries and questions we might have and her presence throughout labour was exactly what we both needed to have the best birthing experience possible. We really feel like we wouldn't have been able to do it without her calm, multiple advice, support and continuous encouragement as we went from our house to one hospital and then another.
